I just came across this picture of my mother & me. Finding this photo was a true gift, because I LOVE the way she looks here (far outweighing my outdated glasses and icky appearance). If you click on the picture, you'll get a much larger version that's almost life-size.The reason I adore this picture is that it truly captures my mom. It conveys her warmth and love. It shows how beautiful she was, both inside and out. It shows, too, how much she loved me. Looking at this picture makes me feel like she's still here, because her eyes undeniably convey how much life she had in her. She has a great soul. This picture (almost) brings me face-to-face with her.
