After subjecting you all to the unsightly picture in my last post, I thought it was appropriate to follow with something people would love to see. I'm back to my 2 old standbys: Andrew and Jasmine.
First, we have Andrew, looking more and more like a little man. A bunch of us visited Murray, Sandra, et. al. in Newport at a house they had for the weekend. Andrew found this accordion, which I think either belonged to the home's owners or Tori. In any case, Andrew found it and kept making it play music. It's sort of an accordion for cheaters, since you just have to pull or push on the handles and then some electronic accordion music starts playing. It is a pretty cute toy and, surprisingly, not that annoying as far as kids'-toys-that-won't-stop-playing-music-over- and-over go.
Next up is a picture of Jasmine, who came for a Cranston weekend filled with (in order of significance) Auntie Ellen, other dogs, mud and me. When I was in another room, I went looking for Jasmine. She was snuggled in on the couch, right over pillows and blankets that had deterred her for a few days, but finally she felt at home enough to take liberties.
Fortunately, she was on the very light sofa after I had given her a shower. All she left on the sofa was lots of shedding black fur. It could have been worse. You see, while visiting Auntie Ellen and her puppy friends, Jasmine cooled herself off by laying in a brook. I didn't realize that she had mud caked all over the side of her until I saw piles of sand on my floor, in all of the places where Jasmine had laid down. After 2 days of brook "cleansing", she smelled like a sewer. So I washed her with my old-fashioned lemonade shampoo and we were all much happier.
Now that I've provided two cute pictures to look at, I hope you're all much happier, too.
ps In the first pic I took of Jasmine illicitly on the sofa, she was awake but she closed her eyes again!!!
